On behalf of the Swedish Board of Agriculture in Jönköping, we are now looking for a digital communicator to start in February. The role is primarily aimed at those who have at least 5 years of work experience in the field and knowledge of several important digital tools/systems. It is also a requirement that you have previously worked in the public sector.

The assignment is temporary and runs until December 23, 2026.

The Swedish Board of Agriculture is the government's expert authority in the agricultural policy area. The Board exists to promote increased and sustainable food production, good animal welfare throughout Sweden, and a vibrant rural community. They administer EU support for agriculture, rural areas, and fisheries. The Board has approximately 1,700 employees, of which about 900 work at the headquarters in Jönköping, about 150 are regionally placed in southern and central Sweden, and about 650 work at district veterinary clinics across the country.

About the role

The Swedish Board of Agriculture will develop a digital contact point for municipalities in 2026, providing guidance and training on aquaculture and supervision/control, creating digital training for municipalities aimed at spreading knowledge about the industry, regulations, and environmental impact, designing guidelines, and creating a network for knowledge and experience exchange for municipalities.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing www.svensktvattenbruk.se (http://www.svensktvattenbruk.se) in SiteVision as it will serve as a digital platform
  • Creating and being responsible for a communication plan
  • Contributing to the development of online training
  • Writing articles for the web
  • Working in Teams and Zoom to invite and be technically responsible for conducting webinars

We are looking for someone who

  • Has a university degree, for example in media and communication or equivalent education
  • Has at least five years of work experience in similar roles and experience from the public sector
  • Has good knowledge of digital communication, social media, film production/editing, and accessibility adaptation
  • Has knowledge and experience in web publishing tools (Sitevision, etc.)
  • Has knowledge of web analytics tools (for example, Matomo, Piwik Pro, Siteimprove, etc.)
  • Has knowledge of optimization, usability, accessibility, and development of digital channels
  • Has good knowledge of MS Office
  • Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

You are expected to substantiate your experience with two reference assignments - one in web development and one in film production, editing & publishing.

About the employment

This is a consulting assignment with immediate start. You will be employed by OIO and work at the Swedish Board of Agriculture in Jönköping.

Working hours: 08:00–16:30
Start: Immediately
Salary: Fixed monthly salary
